These courses are offered to individuals that truly desire the proper knowledge and understanding of sailing together with receiving excellent personal hands-on training.

All classes are taught on board a beautiful 37' Island Packet Yacht by a United States Coast Guard licensed captain who is also a professionally certified ASA sailing instructor.

What sets us apart from other sailing schools is that we take pride in offering these classes to a maximum of only 2 students per class (unless family is involved). We feel with this limited classroom size you will receive the highest quality time needed to practice and learn the skills required as both helmsperson and crew.

Basic Keelboat - This is a 2 day class which consists of about 4 hours classroom and about 12 hours of on-the-water training.

Prerequisite: none    Cost of course = $500.00 per person

Basic Cruising - This is a 2 day class which consists of about 2 hours classroom and about 14 hours of on-the-water training.

Prerequisite: Basic Keelboat    Cost of course = $600.00 per person

Bareboat Cruising - This is a 2 day class which consists of about 4 hours classroom with the rest of our time on-the-water, it requires one overnight being spent aboard at anchor.

Prerequisite: Basic Keelboat & Basic Cruising    Cost of course = $700.00 per person

Liveaboard Program - This is a 5 day/4 night stay on board the boat course along with your instructor. It allows you the unique opportunity to experience and enjoy the "liveaboard lifestyle" this includes 3 nights at the marina and requires one overnight being spent aboard at anchor.

Prerequisite: none (this will take you through all three classes)   Cost of course = $1600.00 per person


Payment Policy

We will soon be accepting MC/VISA over the phone. At this time only checks are accepted.

We require a 50% deposit to reserve any course dates. Please remember that no dates are confirmed until payment is received. Full payment is due prior to the beginning of your reserved course.

Cancellation Policy

The deposit and course fee is non-refundable except if cancellation occurs at least 30 days prior to the scheduled course date. A cancellation fee of $100.00 per person will be charged and the balance of your deposit refunded. If cancellation occurs within 30 days of the scheduled course date no refunds will be issued.

For this reason we recommend you purchase travel insurance.
